HOLE #1 280 YDS PAR 4 HCP 6
From the start, Sonora Dunes challenges the golfers' course management ability as well as their shot making skills.
The first par 4 at 280 yards has OB stakes along the left side and desert along the right. The landing area narrows
at 200 yards, so lay up for a comfortable approach, or drive at or near the green for a birdie chance but risk a
bogey or worse from the front left grass bunker, or the sage that surrounds the not as subtle as it looks putting
surface.
